Repair and Home Grant/Loan Assistance

• USDA 504 home repair $9250 grants (must be 62+) for health and safety hazards and accessibility – income based.
• USDA 504 repair low interest loans any age (example: new roof, siding, windows, furnace…)

• Assistance with completing home loan applications for USDA 502 home loans (no downpayment required), FHA, Traditional Banks. 
• Ameren Home Efficiency Grant/Loan Program– all income based (insulation, sealing and furnaces) Call your local Outreach Office

• Coles County Regional Planning – REHAB, Handicap Accessibility Program, in the communities of Charleston, Mattoon, Paris, Oakland, Ashmore, Greenup, Martinsville, Toledo, Casey, Neoga, and in Coles, Cumberland and Clark Counties. • Coles County Regional Planning – Home Repair Program (HAFHR)* to allow eligible homeowners the ability to address home maintenance needs that were delayed and exacerbated due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
