The ERBA Emergency Energy Fund (EEEF) supports households who receive LIHEAP by stepping in when traditional energy assistance programs fall short.

When vital home systems break — and families cannot afford repairs — EEEF prevents crises like:

  • Loss of heating in winter

  • Unsafe cooling in extreme heat

  • Carbon monoxide hazards

  • Water leaks causing structural damage

  • Utility shut-off risks

🧡 Earl’s Warm, Safe Kitchen

Earl had recently lost his wife and lived alone. When his furnace was replaced through LIHEAP, dangerous carbon monoxide levels were discovered — caused by a faulty cookstove.
LIHEAP could not help, but EEEF stepped in and replaced the stove, keeping Earl safe and giving him back the comfort of cooking in his home.
